Bourbon Whiskey

Bourbon is a type of American whiskey derived mostly from corn and matured in charred oak barrels. To be considered bourbon, it must follow strict legal requirements established by the United States Federal Standards of Identity for Distilled Spirits, such as being created from at least 51% maize, distilling to no more than 160 proof, and aging in new charred oak barrels. Bourbon is noted for its rich, nuanced flavors.

Because American whiskey enjoys prestige worldwide, the smoothest bourbon gain in demand occurred in 2016, when sales grew by 8%, with exports playing a significant contribution.

Quality of bourbon
The quality of bourbon varies based on the ingredients used, the maturing procedure, distillation methods, and the distiller’s expertise. High-quality bourbons are often created with carefully selected grains, aged in charred oak barrels to develop complex flavors, and crafted by professional distillers using traditional methods.
